About the Position:

In the Shop Technician position, you will have the opportunity to work with our Fabrication, Installation, and Shop teams to fabricate and assemble water treatment equipment and systems using a variety of skills. You will also be accountable for the following functions:

  • Performs shop fabrication and assembly of water treatment equipment and systems
    • May include organizing, mechanical, assembling, pipe work, and painting
    • Primary focus is on supporting the mobile business unit with maintenance and servicing mobile trailers
  • Assist team members with completing projects on time
  • Provide accurate documentation on project time sheets with explanation of work performed and time spent
  • Maintain a safe, clean and organized workstation and work areas
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager

Job Requirements:

  • 3 or more years of mechanical industrial experience
  • Must have strong mechanical skills
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and work instructions
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and be a team player
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to use standard powered and non-powered tools
  • Ability to climb steps and ladders, push up to 100 pounds, lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl and reach on a routine basis
  • Must have a valid Driver's License

Working Conditions and Schedule: Industrial setting, Monday-Friday; 7:00am-5:00pm, varies based on project load; Some overnight travel may be required (3-5 nights/month based on a yearly average).
