Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience; prefer 5+ experience in a manufacturing or service industry
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Proficient in Dynamics Business Central a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner between Accounting/Finance and other specialty teams to manage production costs and inventory pricing
• Develops and implements product cost dashboards and KPl's
• Performs calculations of overhead costs and variance analysis
• Maintain project allocations between Intercompany departments
• Manages Job Cost system and related processes, including recognizing cost of good sold and revenue for Capital Projects
• Analyze results of production jobs by customer and works with Engineering departments to determine if price adjustments are necessary
• Partner with internal departments to analyze cost savings initiatives and calculate payback periods for potential capital projects
• Support month-end closing process by reconciling accounts and performing journal entries, as well as analyzing variances
• Manage and maintain cost standards and bills of material for work-in-process and finished goods
