Mobile Service Technician/CDL Driver

About the Position:

We are seeking a Mobile Service Technician/CDL Driver for the Mobile unit based at our Graham, NC, location to deliver, start up, and service Mobile water treatment systems at client sites; this includes mechanical work and some electrical troubleshooting. In general, duties include, but are not be limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transports, sets up, and maintains mobile water treatment equipment at customer sites
  • Makes deliveries to customers as well as other Pureflow branches
  • Follows all safety and work rules at customers' sites
  • Maintains valid MICSS card and other clearances (e.g., clean background check & drug screen, ID badges, etc.) which are required for customer site access
  • Maintains mobile equipment appearance and maintenance
  • Participates in the 24/7 emergency on call rotation
  • Interacts well with customers: polite, respectful, clear, prompt, and honest
  • Strives for efficiency and complete work in a thorough and timely manner
  • Provides good documentation on time sheets, service reports, and log books (service reports reconcile with time sheets, explanation of work performed and time spent, documenting and highlighting extra work performed)
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Currently holds Class A CDL license and a safe driving record
  • 2 or more years of experience in equipment service operations, preferably in customer-facing setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized
  • Basic computer skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous "on call" assignment experience preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Majority of work is performed driving and in industrial settings inside customer facilities
  • Training includes OSHA 10, safety, technical, and on-the-job training with an experienced technician
  • Regular "on call" rotation assignments
  • Significant local travel. Additionally, we service multiple states so some overnights are to be expected each month.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. without physical restrictions
