Position:
We are seeking an Inventory/Shop Technician for our Buford, Georgia, location whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Job Responsibilities:
- Truck/vehicle/forklift Maintenance
- Wash vehicles weekly
- Vacuum and clean out vehicles as required
- Schedule service/maintenance on vehicles and equipment as needed
- Coordinate DOT Inspections
- Inventory/Purchasing Support
- Label, stock, and keep shelves organized
- Purchase miscellaneous supplies for jobs, as well as general office supplies
- Receive shipments
- Keep shop warehouse organized
- Performs inventory transaction
- Properly puts away stock
- Pulls parts for business units and shop personnel
- Pulls and stages parts for service orders
- Conducts cycle counts and participates in Physical Inventory
- Reconciles negative inventory
- Assist with Shop/Office Facilities Maintenance
- Keep office and shop areas clean and floors clean/clutter free
- Keep bathrooms neat and stocked
- Maintain lobby entrance
- Perform passivations, O2 cleanings and sanitizations - work performed at the GA office/shop - training will be given for specific tasks.
- Assist with airport transportation as needed for PFI staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing/industrial/stockroom environment preferred.
- Job functions require ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., climb steps and ladders, walk, bend, stoop, balance, crawl, and reach on a routine basis.
- Computer skills (MS Office) and basic math skills.
- Organized, detail oriented, flexible, high energy, self-starter, innovative, & good communicator.
- Team oriented with continuous improvement outlook.
- Requires handheld scanner experience and an understanding of inventory control principals.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience.
- Electrical and plumbing parts knowledge preferred.
