About the Position:

Pureflow is actively hiring for a passionate, detail oriented, and service focused HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team. Specific Responsibilities:

The HR Generalist is responsible for a variety of functions within the HR Department which supports Pureflow's mission, business goals, and operations through our Company's most valuable resource'our employees:

  • Promote a work environment and culture in alignment with PFI's Core Values and Philosophy.
  • Ensure PFI compliance with legal requirements in all HR areas for which you are responsible.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all PFI employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
  • Respond to employee relation issues appropriately.
  • Process payroll, as well as other payroll-related activities (Salary Surveys, Employment Verifications, Unemployment Notices, etc.).
  • Assist with on-boarding of new employees.
  • Maintain employee personnel files. 
  • Assist with tracking and monitoring performance reviews to ensure timeliness.
  • Report on monthly HR metrics and track trends.
  • Develop and administrate an employee recognition program, designed to touch all locations and employee types.
  • Coordinate employee wellness program.
  • Coordinate employee newsletter, social media, and other employee communications.
  • Assist in development of personnel policies and procedures; maintain updated Employee Handbook.
  • Coordinate and process immigrant worker documentation, in partnership with legal representation as needed.
  • Report, maintain and monitor workers' compensation case files; follows-up on open cases.
  • Prepare required annual reports, such as EEO-1.
  • Partner with HR Manager on various HR projects.

 

Qualifications:

  • Motivated and energized by serving others
  • 5 years of experience in Human Resources; thorough knowledge of the HR compliance and best practices
  • Sensitivity to confidential matters is required; exercises discernment and appropriate confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to work well with all levels of management and staff, candidates, and outside vendors; high level of professionalism
  • Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize well;  strong follow-through with tasks and projects
  • Sound judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Enjoy partnering with others to accomplish goals and improve processes as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous experience with a payroll system and/or an HRIS preferred
  • BS/BA in related field and PHR/SPHR or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP certification a plus

 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Majority of work is performed in office setting
  • Some travel will be necessary, as needed, for events, training, branch area meetings, etc.
