Electrical CAD Designer

Position:

We are seeking an Electrical CAD Designer whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following for water purification systems and equipment:

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare control panel layout drawings for proposed equipment
• Prepare electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical software
• Maintain customer CAD files in an organized manner, using proper version control
• Prepare Bills of Materials from fabrication drawings
• Issue purchase requisitions for new equipment and parts for projects to the purchasing agent
• Prepare as-built drawings and compile necessary documentation for turnover packages
• Assist in estimating new projects

Qualifications:

• Electrical CADdesign or panel building experience related to industrial control panels
• Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical or comparable CAD software
• Design mindset and strong electrical aptitude
• Enjoys the challenge of multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of NEC & UL508A codes preferred

Working Conditions:

Usual office working conditions; hours 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday; additional hours may be required depending on current project workflow.
