Controls Engineer

Since 1985, Pureflow, Inc. has been pursuing excellence in high purity water systems. Our Company designs, builds, installs, and maintains high purity water equipment. Pureflow serves customers throughout NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, and eastern TN with an expansive array of industrial and commercial applications. We are seeking a Controls Engineer whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following for water purification and treatment systems and equipment:

Job Responsibilities:

• • Responsible for comprehensive design and programming of the instrumentation and control system for industrial water purification equipment.
• • Communicate with the project manager and other project engineers to ascertain all functional requirements necessary for complete system control designs.
• • Develop system documentation in conjunction with other assigned project and design engineers.
• • Use AutoCAD Electrical to create the necessary electrical schematics and wiring diagrams in a manner consistent with Pureflow standards.
• • Responsible for startup and testing after system installation.

Qualifications:

• • Familiarity in the applications of industrial instrumentation and control components and systems including, but not limited to, PLC/PAC, analyzers, sensors, valves, power supplies, wiring devices, variable frequency drives, and motor control. Additional knowledge in
• the area of NEC, NFPA, UL and CE codes is helpful.
• • BS degree in Electrical Engineering & 5 years of electrical engineering experience
• • Experience with MS Office Suite, PLC ladder logic programming, HMI application development
• • Ability to read and create electrical schematics
• • Ability to troubleshoot industrial control systems
• • Proficiency in: AutoCAD Electrical, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View Studio
• • Excellent communication skills
• • Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects

Working Conditions:

Usual office working conditions in Graham, NC. Some travel is required to visit client offices, production facilities or industrial/construction job sites. Conditions vary at each location. Extended hours may be necessary as workloads dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
