CAD Designer

Since 1985, Pureflow, Inc. has been pursuing excellence in high purity water systems.  Our Company designs, builds, installs, and maintains high purity water equipment.  Pureflow serves customers throughout NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, and eastern TN with an expansive array of industrial and commercial applications. We are seeking a CAD Designer whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following for water purification and treatment systems and equipment:

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare flow diagrams and P&IDs

Prepare equipment layout and utility connection drawings for proposed installation at customer site, taking onsite measurements, as necessary

Prepare skid frame, skid assembly, and interconnecting piping drawings

Maintain customer CAD files in an organized manner, using proper version control

Prepare Bills of Materials from fabrication drawings

Enter parts and Bill of Materials in the database

    Issue purchase requisitions for new equipment and parts for projects to the purchasing agent Revise drawings during a project, as required, and issue new copies to customer for review and approval, as necessary

Prepare as-built drawings for turnover packages

Assist in estimating new projects

Qualifications:

3 or more years of drafting and design experience

Proficient with Solid Works and AutoCAD Design mindset and strong mechanical aptitude

Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects

Working knowledge of piping, pipe valves and fittings, and pumps preferred

Working knowledge of electrical/controls preferred

Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience
