Since 1985, Pureflow, Inc. has been pursuing excellence in high purity water systems.  Our Company designs, builds, installs, and maintains high purity water equipment.  Pureflow serves customers throughout NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, and eastern TN with an expansive array of industrial and commercial applications. We are seeking a Buyer whose job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following for water purification and treatment systems and equipment:

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all purchases to ensure timely and cost effective delivery and quality standards
• Accurately enter P.O. into MRP system with expected ship date upon issuance of order
• Improve purchasing procedures and controls document and implement procedures
• Expedite supply and prioritize suppliers to meet emergency, short lead time, demands according to service, project and inventory supply needs
• Work with internal customers to expedite and resolve supply issues
• Provide delivery dates to project managers, service, and operations
• Key Performance Indicators (KPI's): On Time Delivery; PO Backlog; PO Accuracy (ship date, price, account, etc.); Premium Freight
• Measure key supplier performance and drive resolution to issues by understanding supplier capacities and capabilities
• Drive elimination of supplier defects received
• Qualify, source and negotiate, with an emphasis to identify cost reduction opportunities with suppliers

Qualifications:

•  5 or more years of direct purchasing experience
•  Familiar with mechanical and electrical components
• Preferred: Degree from an accredited school or US Military in Business Administration, Materials Management, Accounting, or Logistics preferred.
• Competent computer skills with MRP system, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to organize, assess, prioritize tasks, risks, resources, milestones and deliverables
• Self-starter and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
