Since 1985, Pureflow, Inc. has been pursuing excellence in high purity water systems.  Our Company designs, builds, installs, and maintains high purity water equipment. Pureflow serves customers throughout NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, TX, AL and eastern TN with an expansive array of industrial and commercial applications. We are seeking a Business Developer for Virginia whose primary focus will be to build PFI's market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. 

Responsibilities:

In general your duties are expected to include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Produce business development for new systems and accounts by researching the market, generating and developing leads and following up on prospects.
  • Develop existing accounts by seeking out new opportunities with current customers and maintaining favorable relationships with current customers.
  • Review customer/prospective customer design options with engineering and technical support.
  • Prepare, present, and complete the sales quotation process, including feedback from prospects regarding the process.
  • Manage sales process to obtain PO to meet Branch sales and margin goals.
  • Provide management with regular reports on sales activity, prospects, customer issues, and sales strategies.
  • Coordinate/Participate with marketing department on trade shows and lead generation events.
  • Communicate effectively and timely with appropriate teams to ensure customer satisfaction, including all aspects of customer service.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in equipment service operations, preferably customer-facing settings
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
  • Mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); CRM software skills preferred (SalesForce)
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly-organized, energetic & capable of staying cool under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Working Conditions:

The regular hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm.  Additional hours may be required depending on project load.  Overnight travel required based on business needs.  Primary territory is Virginia.  Majority of work performed in office environment, customer sites, and vehicle traveling.
