Account Manager

Since 1985, Pureflow, Inc. has been pursuing excellence in high purity water systems. Our Company designs, builds, installs, and maintains high purity water equipment. Pureflow serves customers throughout NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, AL, TX and eastern TN with an expansive array of industrial and commercial applications. We are seeking an Account Manager whose is eager to learn and grow professionally in the water purification industry.


Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be to build PFI's market position by developing existing accounts, locating, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. In general your duties are expected to include, but not be limited to:
Research/address market needs and opportunities to strengthen PFI to the position of market leader in innovation and profitability in the High Purity Water market
Develop effective, trusted working relationships with all customers, maximizing ongoing communications
Manage current account contract renewal process; review, negotiate, and obtain new maintenance contracts
Generate, develop and follow up on prospective sales leads
Prepare and present sales quotations & manage sales process to obtain PO in order to meet sales and margin goals
Provide regular reports regarding sales activity, prospects, customer issues & sales strategies
Communicate effectively and timely with appropriate teams regarding sensitive customer service issues
Coordinate with marketing department for marketing efforts, trade shows and lead generation
Review customer/prospective customer design options with engineering and technical support when needed
Coordinate with Installation and Maintenance departments on equipment service and installations (e.g., routine maintenance, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting)
Initially, help service accounts and provide installation support for new business


Essential Qualifications
Previous account management or customer-facing experience preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good rapport with team members; effective collaboration
Mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Self-motivated, results-oriented, highly organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure


Working Conditions
The regular hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm. Additional hours may be required depending on project load. Primary territory is North Carolina and South Carolina. Majority of work performed in office environment and at customer sites.
